We invented GoDogGo® Automatic Remote Fetch out of necessity for our ball-crazy Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Hershey, who demands constant and intense interaction with a tennis ball.

As Ron Thompson was building his home on Puget Sound, he found it hard to keep his Chocolate Labrador, Hershey, entertained. Hershey, being obsessed with tennis balls and fetch, began chasing drain rock while standing in front of a moving excavator. Every rolling rock became a game of fetch for Hershey and a bigger nuisance to his owner! After relentless hours chasing his Lab from the front of the excavator, Ron decided to act upon a subcontractors flip remark about “inventing a machine to take care of that dog”. He quickly began searching the internet to find a solution to his dilemma in hopes that he would come across a fetch machine for Hershey. Ron found devices that would launch a tennis ball but they did not allow the dog to interact and return the ball to the machine for continuous play, with or without human interaction. Ron, being a product designer by profession, went about inventing a fetch machine geared specifically for dogs and the automatic launch and retrieval of tennis balls. Thus the idea of GoDogGo® Remote Fetch Machine was launched and Hershey no longer risks her life in front of heavy machinery.
